IMPORTANT 2-PART REGISTRATION. ONCE YOU HAVE PAID, YOU WILL RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WITH AN INVOICE NUMBER AND THE COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION LINK. YOU WILL NEED YOUR INVOICE NUMBER IN ORDER TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION.
IF YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR MORE THAN ONE PERSON, EACH PERSON MUST COMPLETE STEP TWO INDIVIDUALLY IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A DISTINCT BIB NUMBER. Frequently asked questions:
Q. Does my team have to stay the same, or can I run different dogs?
A. Yes, you can mix and max for your team. If you have entered a dog in a Title Class, however, that dog must meet all Title requirements (so keep that in mind as you pick your team each stage).
Q. What is a “Stage”? Do I have to enter a score every week?
A. A “Stage” is a week. There are 6 Stages (6-weeks) in the Iron Paws Stage Race. To finish the IPSR, your team must complete 5 of the 6 Stages (you are allowed one throw-out week). Teams must complete a minimum of 2 miles to earn a Stage score (exception: Old Dogs Rule must only complete 1 mile per Stage). All IPSR finishers will earn a medal (top 3 will earn place medals). Stages run Monday through Sunday.
Q. When are Stage scores due?
A. Weekly, every Wednesday by noon.
Q. Can I run my team more than once a day in order to accumulate more miles?
A. No. One run, per team, per day will be allowed for miles/points.
